I have trained my family to survive on hand luggage only for any holiday lasting a fortnight or less. If you are going to a hot country, its not as hard as it sounds..

It is only £127 to fly up from Gatwick early on the 22nd and back in the evening two weeks later. My kids don't go back to school till 6th September, so this would be a very, very cheap holiday for us. Pity we don't get back from our main jollies till the 24th, otherwise I'd have been all over this...

exactly, still have 4x10kg hand luggage included, even if you want exrtra bags, still cheap deal overall,
or you can drive to Glasgow and leave your car at the airport parking.

I can highly recommend hotel Sol Parc (in pine wood and with the most beautiful beach in the Island, they have kids entertainment, evening shows etc. also available and cheap - but not as cheap as this one :P
