With Xiaomi Mi5 best price now this low it really offers the best value in 2017. Featuring VoLTE, Snapdragon 820, NFC, Andriid 7.0, Quick Charge 3.0 and OIS – Mi5 just dropped to the lowest price, ever.
don't forget top cash back of 3% taking it down a little.
Update. people reporting that adding voucher has increased the price, not lowered it, so only cash back available. Apologies.

Unsurprisingly, a phone called the Mi5c is a different phone to this one, the Mi5.

What a silly thing to say,I am in the UK so how could I work for Xiaomi or Gearbest. I like my tech and with Xiaomi you can get great stuff without paying the silly prices that Samsung or Apple want

No B20 UK 4G band, so poor reception in UK . Add customs and delivery from China to price . No XIAOMI warranty as grey import. BIG NEGATIVE

Are all UK carriers supported?
Also reading the Trusted reviews site, why do they say the OS is more like iOS than Android??

The only iOS similarity is that there is no app drawer. Basically in iOS all your apps/folders are on your 'home' screens where as in Android you'd usually choose apps to appear on your home screens but also have a button to see 'all apps'. Difficult to explain but it's not anything to worry about.

Plus android allows you to customise the look and feel a lot. Using a launcher like nova you can add an app drawer back I should think.

MIUI is based on Android but it has a feel of iOS (Source: tried MIUI on my Redmi Note 3 Pro)
Oh and check this website to see if your carrier is support and for all the bands etc. http://willmyphonework.net

I have the mi5s from gearbest.com and has to go through the process of requesting permission from xiaomi to install the official rom (which was simple enough and took a couple of days). Rom when received was not official and Amazon prime adverts (etc) popped up every now n again (Full screen) with the provided rom. So I advise to check the version when you get it before using.

fyi... if a phone comes with an unofficial rom like yours did you didn't have to request any unlock as it was already unlocked to get the rom in. All you have to do than is download official rom from official miui website, copy it to relevant folder as described on official website and load it using update app on the phone. loading any official rom will lock up the boot loader. hope this will be useful to someone.

This is Android though right? What's stopping me installing a launcher app like Nova?
