Six coasters at Alton Towers in a day? Is it open for 18 hours straight?

One incident happened. Out of all the rides at Alton Towers, of all the times in one day those rides go, one incident. Can't be scared of going surely! You've got a much, much, much higher chance of something happening driving to work than spending a month there! Think people need to put things into perspective

If you dont fancy doing the rides, the scan points you need to complete the challenge are by the shop at the exit of each ride so you can just go to the shop and scan the app. All Done without going on the rides if you want the free return day but dont fancy doing the coasters.

Sounds like a fun challenge. Would need to research before going which rides generally have the biggest queues and get those ones ticked off the list first with early park entry.

Easy to be done if you go midweek. Went last year and did them all in about 90 minutes. Longest queue being The Smiler which was a 15 minute queue.
Didn't bother going back in September however.

Since the 'incident', Alton Towers has never recovered, there is rarely a queue over 45 mins - an hour on the big rides. Unfortunately they have also screwed the park up with reduced opening times and dates, closure of many rides and eateries and way too much focus on toddlers. The only big queues now are in CBeebies Land!

There opening times are a joke! 10am to 4pm and 10am to 5pm Friday and Saturday

Oh excellent, I was never concerned about being hurt on a ride, and even less so now that it's happened and they'll doing everything they possibly can to not let it happen again, next time the hotel stay a 2 days in the park is closer to £50-60pp for 4 of us, I'll be up for it.
