You might as well drop two pounds coins down the side of the drivers seat, it'll have the same effect on the vehicles performance.

ive tried this before but haven't seen any noticeable results. Has it worked for anyone else?

Put some in my lawnmower the other week and it got rid of the erratic running after the first tankful. I've used it before in motorbikes but never really formed an opinion that is until it fixed the lawnmower.

If I said yes would it change your experience of the product?

sure - I can report back on 2 petrol & 1 diesel car/s I own - all pretty old 1996 x1 & 1997 x2 - Redex really does give them a new spring in their step, ie it cleans up the fuel injectors and they all regained quite a bit of oomph & smoothness when you stick your foot down
probably more useful with old crocks like mine than with newer vehicles

I used to be sceptical about fuel treatments until I tried the Millers diesel power ecomax. There was a noticeable improvement in performance and the engine ran quieter. Never tried Redex though.

The product description says nothing about improving performance. This is the equivalent of cleaning your car except this cleans the injectors which can help prolong their life and if they are really dirty you might actually notice a performance improvement. Why do you think you're funny? or that you know what you're talking about, all you achieved here was making yourself look stupid.

The manufacturer website is very coy about what is actually in Redex and what it actually does. For example Yet there is no evidence presented at all that it really does these things.
It's hard not to draw the conclusion that this is snake oil.

Redex has been around for very, very many years. I used to use it in cars some 30 years ago. It was great for removing crap from engines then, and I still use it in my old motorcycles and lawnmowers.

Your car will become addicted to it.

I once used some and it dislodged all the sediment that can collect in old fuel tanks and blocked my fuel filter whist driving to work at 5.00am..... Never used it since....
