Mmm.... purple (Homer Simpson voice) . Saw these instore. Guessing its a trial price for only £1. Definitely must be worth a try at this price though :smiley:

They also had some other new oven chips aswell. Chilli flavour and bacon flavour

They actually have started selling bacon flavoured crinkle cut chips in asda! I got them last saturday & have yet to try them.

If these are not dyed and naturally purple then they should be very good for you. There is a documentary of a small island in Japan where the population live mainly off purple potatoes and all are in exceptional health due to the nutrients from said purple potatoes.

Purple foods seem to be a healthy eating fad food at the moment for whatever reason. Which is why i assume they came out with these. These are made from Purple Majesty potatoes, which are naturally purple.
