Decent price for one of the best GPU's around plus a new game that you could probably Ebay off for £30-40 if you so wish.
Good value atm as well since idiots have been driving up the prices on the GTX 1070.
This requires at least a decent 500W PSU so be careful.

Of the game or the card? If you mean the latter then I don't believe so.

Just shows how efficient these cards are- all that GPU power but needing only a 500w PSU. Great stuff...I own the same design but the 1070 and it is nice and simple and temps are very good.

My PSU is a bronze 650w so there's no issue for me but my friend bought a 1080 to replace a 980Ti earlier this year and had to replace his 500w supply because the 1080 caused the system to crash in games. With a new PSU everything worked flawlessly.

Also this looks to be the same as the 1070 in that it is a little shorter than regular 1080s so good if you have a snug case. Palit are a big name in East Asia and quality is very good.

Indeed. I have a Zotac GTX 1070 and it's enormous. I had to buy a new case eventually to accommodate it.

The card is showing as order upon request for me - I think quite a lot of them are out of stock from Novatech right now, what with the mining craze

These are no good for mining. GDDR5X doesn't work too well with the current algorithms and that's why GTX 1070 prices have shot through the roof but 1080 and 1080Ti prices have remained fairly stable.

You can mine fine on a 1080, they're just not as efficient ROI wise.

I don't know about these sorts of things tbh, all I know is that morons have been buying up 1070's left, right and centre but fortunately have so far mostly left these 5X cards alone.

I have one 1080 and have been thinking about mining but also fix my not so smooth framerate on games on 4k. can I get a second 1080 and sli it with the fancy sli bridge and also have a decent mining rig when not gaming?
Is SLI any good in games such as the new sniper or the division?.
Also what's the ROI on mining like. is it really worth it?
Any links to get me started and which currency to mine with geforce cards would be appreciated.
I am decent with hardware but know nothing about sli or mining.... plus have a development background but haven't programmed since the early visual studio days!
cheers guys

never sell codes on eBay, what is to stop the buyer saying they could not redeem it, I'll tell you, nothing, eBay always sides with the buyer.
Destiny 2 current forum value is £30.

What do you mean by forum value? Is there a safe forum to sell games?

I'm not being funny but if you want to discuss that then please take that to another thread or PM. Don't bring that **** in here. I really, really dislike miners.

I think you're being a bit harsh there, mining can be a great way to justify the cost of a good gpu to a gamer.
