I have this exact bundle but got it with the Pi 2 a couple of years back. The case is decent, but the power supply is rubbish. I often got the little rainbow square in the top right corner of the screen which meant the unit wasn't receiving enough power, in some cases this can cause the unit to power off/reset, which I have experienced once or twice. Once I switched over to the official power supply - no more problems.

rs components and element14 are original official resellers, boards are made in both uk and china.
get some excellent little boards, my latest play was trying make alexa box using ps3 eyetoy as mic. failed miserable but was a fun way to waste afternoon

I also thought they were all the same but with my limited research some are say uk boards so I don't know whether some are made in China? Maybe copies? And why is it labelled neego? Not raspberry?
I've also not bought one before so it's relatively new to me aswell!

Could be wrong here but if you want a Rasp Pi go to thepihut website, cant comment on where they are made but they ae the official website for the Pi.

Your probably right! It's late so I was rushing to post a thread to get it on before people go to bed as it will probably be lost by the morning. It's too easy with copy and paste!
I've just been through the rs components site, quite a lot on there for reasonable price. I'll check the elements site now!

Odd I did the same and all worked well although I've now have Google Assistant on it instead, suggest you try that as set up is far simpler. The PS3 Eye is about the best mic on the market for doing this and mine was a whole 75p from cex :smile:

I've had a look on elements but I ended up on CPC farnell as I think that's who do the sales. I've ordered from before and think there a great company.
I've seen this from Amazone which includes a 16gb SD card so maybe a better deal, minus the heatsinks. For £44

A far as I can see you get the 2 Pi3 and cable when purchasing it. So the box and the reading material are what's the difference here.

I suspect they've just stuck the bundle in their own branded box. The reviews look fine. I might look into using my Pi2 as a Google Home controller!
