I was on the lookout for a laptop that would be good for video editing. This looks like it might fit the bill? Or considering I'm not too bothered about gaming, are there any better options closer to the £500 mark?

This laptop looks like a good deal if you want to do video editing (assuming <4K resolution). You would be hard pressed to find another laptop cheaper than this one with dedicated current gen GPU.

You can get the same laptop with an i5, 960m and no 1tb HDD for £200 less at saveonlaptops. I'd link but my copy and paste isn't working! :P
Not quite as good but still a decent dedicated GPU and a full power quad core CPU

If you are not looking for a laptop with a decent graphics card you will probably find better options.

Also if anyone is aware of any better deals at similar/better specs I would appreciate a link/feedback. Thanks.

Depending on what you are looking for there are other options, but not cheaper:
£809 for the GTX1050 4GB, 256GB SSD (no mechanical drive) and i5 7300-HQ. Worse processor than this (no hyperthreading, just 4 cores), but battery life will be better and 4GB RAM will be better on the GPU. HDD vs SSD is a toss up depending on your use. 128GB+1TB vs 256GB. Same link as above. You can probably add an extra harddrive, but you can't add more RAM to the GPU, so the 4GB is more future proof.
I just ordered the 1050Ti Dell with an extra 4% cashback (hopefully) through work, so £950 or so all in. The battery life sold me on it. Up to 11 hours with light use (per actual tests), 7 hours or so video, maybe 3 hours gaming. Most others seem to have much worse battery life.

Any idea if this would run Quake Champions or Overwatch at 60fps with full settings at 1080p (assuming the screen is 1080p or HDMI to 1080p TV/monitor)? Many thanks

Some benchmarks suggest you could get 88+ FPS at high settings, but around 54FPS at ultra settings in Overwatch using the 1050.
Personally I'd rather have an I5-7300 cpu and a 1050ti graphics card, however I haven't found a laptop with that combo outside of PC specialists - and it would be >£900.

I hesitate to say definitely
But Overwatch isn't that intensive, a 1050 should do the job easily. Looks about 80 FPS on ultra, but it might be slightly less coming from a laptop.

I've got a Dell 7567 with i5 and 1050 (got it from the outlet for £562) and it does not manage Overwatch at Ultra settings above around 35fps. You'll have to compromise with some settings to achieve 60fps. A 1050Ti would definitely be better.

This can easily handle 4K video editing.
You can edit 4K content on a 1080p screen.
You can use an external, colour accurate monitor.

Thanks Lonyo for the links, I appreciate it. I need to get this deal through the wife so price is always an issue!
