It's certainly amazing that that's the price after 33% off.

New Motorola power pack out in July (apparently) thinner and smart charging capability.
I would imagine this dropping lots when that eventually appears.
That is the US site where the wireless charging version of the Incipio one has been available as well.
Not sure if/when the UK will be getting this better one....?

Don't really get the point of buying a phone that's slim because it has a small battery then adding a bulky battery back that makes it thicker....
Why not buy a normal thickness phone with a decent battery in the first place....

You get the best of both worlds in this case...
I'm not buying this mod to have attached to the phone permanently.
But if I need to be away from a power source for more than 24hrs this is a more convenient/neater solution than carrying around a battery pack...

Because you may not need it to have a lot of power for day to day use just for weekends away etc I guess. But external cabled power packs seem bargain in comparison

Ah yeah I missed that. Just cancelled my order as I was going to hold out for the turbopack. Might have to re-consider now...

On other hand this is a lot more expensive than similar small capacity battery pack and will be useless when you change phone.

I agree....
I think overpriced accessories like this are just highlighting the shortcomings of the actual device while at the same trying justify the MotoMod features 'usefulness'
a phone a few mm thick in the first place seems to make more sense as does an external battery back at a third of the price if more battery life is needed
