I have the Moto z and never worry about battery. lasts all day and I charge it at night. it comes with a turbo charger so just a quick plug in lets you keep going. I love how slim the phone is and use a protective case rather than mods ATM.

Love my Moto Z but haven't found a mod worth buying. The camera's rubbish and the extra batteries are a ridiculous price. I'm waiting for the rear screen. Hope it gets manufactured.

projector is very cool, not the highest resolution but portability beat it, battery is good too, i can watch a whole football game on one mod charge

I never made any comparison........I answered the question "do you own a Moto Z or Z Play"
That said...I've had flagship phones for 20yrs now...the P2 is the first phone I think I've ever bought that wasn't a flagship!....
My Galaxy Note 4 was dying and I'd struggled for many months looking for something interesting to replace it..... almost bought a Note 7..(but nuff said) and the s8 didn't float my boat. so I decided to ditch carrying a work and personal mobile and buy a Dual sim handset, I wanted a phone with a decent battery and the P2 ticked all the boxes apart from not being a 'flagship' so I bought the P2 and love it, even though the specs are midrange it's fast, great build quality, has a lovely OLED 1080p screen and the battery life is as good as any phone I can remember having in the last decade.
So no although I didn't make any comparison actually come to think of it the Budget P2 stacks up pretty well against the MotoZ

You are really comparing a flagship phone to a mid range phone??? No comparison mate  And the Mods offer flexibility and thats the whole modular market.

Funnily enough they've all gone now - so seems at least 12 people agreed with me that it was worth it!

I'd say clever marketing by Motorola (or Lenovo as they now are).
Out of interest, do you own a Moto Z or Z Play, or looking to purchase one?
One of the selling points of the Z Play in particular is the enhanced battery life anyway, so hardly a shortcoming of the device itself.

I agree....
I think overpriced accessories like this are just highlighting the shortcomings of the actual device while at the same trying justify the MotoMod features 'usefulness'
a phone a few mm thick in the first place seems to make more sense as does an external battery back at a third of the price if more battery life is needed

On other hand this is a lot more expensive than similar small capacity battery pack and will be useless when you change phone.

Don't really get the point of buying a phone that's slim because it has a small battery then adding a bulky battery back that makes it thicker....
Why not buy a normal thickness phone with a decent battery in the first place....

You get the best of both worlds in this case...
I'm not buying this mod to have attached to the phone permanently.
But if I need to be away from a power source for more than 24hrs this is a more convenient/neater solution than carrying around a battery pack...

Because you may not need it to have a lot of power for day to day use just for weekends away etc I guess. But external cabled power packs seem bargain in comparison

It's certainly amazing that that's the price after 33% off.

Ah yeah I missed that. Just cancelled my order as I was going to hold out for the turbopack. Might have to re-consider now...

That is the US site where the wireless charging version of the Incipio one has been available as well.
Not sure if/when the UK will be getting this better one....?

New Motorola power pack out in July (apparently) thinner and smart charging capability.
I would imagine this dropping lots when that eventually appears.
