I've just been having a browse on the Richer Sounds website as I'm looking for some floor standing speakers (mine keep getting kicked over by the kids and are a bit worse for wear). They have the Mission MX3i speakers back on offer (cheers pavel for the previous post) so I'm SERIOUSLY tempted to pick up a pair of these.
Unfortunately the Yamaha is only available in silver (black is £299) so I'm going to stick with the 671 I currently have.
No, it's not a sofa. Onkyo may well be better the better choice, but I'm not a big fan of yoghurt, and even though I know Yamaha are an unknown brand, I'll stick with what I know

Seriously, hot+cold system isnt meant to be used like that and unless your alternatives are the same price or cheaper than what has been posted your point is well..... pointless.

I bought the Missions with the Pioneer VSX-531 and they sound brilliant together. Chuck in a pair of Wharfedale Diamond 9's and it's a match made in heaven.

Cold for the sarcasm and the fact that Denon are better receivers for the price and Tannoy are better speakers.

I bought the missions a couple of weeks ago when they were posted on here last time. The first pair had damage and so were returned. The replacements are fine but have differing serial numbers. Interested to hear if others got matching numbers or not?

You can still get the 581 8n black at 249 with vip discount. Dud that a few days ago

Should products contain the same serial numbers across a brand ?

Richer Sounds made me return both speakers even though one was damaged saying speakers are matched at the factory. Some manufacturers show this with same or consecutive serial numbers for the pair. But it seems not to always be the case and Richer now say it isnt for these Missions.
