Probably not for you if you are after a chromecast/ firestick/ etc. but great if you need an HDMI link without wires. This is the V2 which is a bit smaller than the original

What do you use yours for? I have the V1 and found it awful for anything other than maybe showing a presentation or static webpage. Videos were a no go for sure.

Good price - at least a fiver cheaper than I can find elsewhere.

These used to be 35 a few months ago
I had a 5 off Amazon Prime now code and got it for 30
It's decent - but I rarely use it for anything besides work. Having a second screen (90" projected image) makes excel a lot easier
However, for anything to do with sound or video this is horrendous. Video is choppy and sound is off set from video.
Too much lag to use as anything but a second screen in a pinch, or for photo/PowerPoint presentations

Good info, thx. Desperate for a wireless hdmi from Sky to TV. Sounds like this isn't it!

Sky Q is wireless, we were like you, and I have tried lots, I never found the HDMI reliable and expensive, so I settled on a QOSE 5.8Ghz Wireless Video sender I found them to be the best

Does this only work with a Surface or does it work with Android phones and tabs too? I have a Surface and this would be useful but I don't have any more free HDMI slots on my TV so I'd have to swap out the chromecast to this when casting.

Works great with Android as long phones supports miracast. I am currently using one of these in my car to connect my S8 to Pioneer Appradio.
I use this on my Tab A and my Galaxy S7 to play movies on the tv, picture can be a little bit stuttery but I find simply pausing the film and then resuming it sorts it out. It's also handy for taking away on holiday so we have stuff to play onto the tv without the need for Wi-Fi
