I would like to see some of these with a small push on/off button above the USB's to power it. It's otherwise a transformer nibbling at power constantly. It's not much, it's not enough to bother me (I have a few) but it would be a nice extra feature to see on these.

Theres a push button internally which only powers the USB socket when a device is plugged in..

Do they do USB-C versions of these yet? Investing in type A seems like a bad thing for the future.

I agree. Do the switches not control the corresponding USB ports by chance? It's not the small parasitic current I'm worried about, it's the transformer just constantly trickling along til it inevitably breaks and it's not like you can just unplug and replace it like a normal plug charger, is it...

Why would you need usb c versions as the other end of the usb c cable is a standard usb plug

A review says it didn't fit into standard wall hole so may be worth checking dimensions before you buy. Saying it's £3 :/

We don't have any single sockets in our house, so I went for the dual pack of double sockets from Argos. Either of these are a great deal in their own right. Well spotted OP.
