Say what you like about eglobal central and buying from outside the UK, but this is the cheapest this phone has been. I bought the platinum version yesterday (when the black version was more expensive).

All territories have qualcomm quickcharge 3.0, but Asian market does not have wireless charging (US only).

Ridiculous price but EGlobal and LG have left a very sour taste in my mouth after my LG G4 went into a bootloop.
I now have an expensive brick :disappointed:

Is this the 'Quad DAC' version or is that only available in South Korea?

Yes, this is the new global version with 64GB of internal storage and quad DAC.

Tempting. I have the G5 with the modular DAC module, wondering if this 'Quad DAC' would sound better (mine already good).

i can't comment on the DAC quality but don't forget that the G5 had the Snapdragon 820 processor whereas the G6 has the only ever so slightly faster Snapdragon 821 processor, compared to the 835 that all the other 'flagship' phones have.

Have you tried to contact LG? They have admitted the hardware fault, so you sould be able to get it repaired by them.

For me it is just not buying an LG product outside of the UK. I read that something like one in five LG G4 phones have had to go back to LG for repair at least once. Mine has been back three times. That's annoying but at least it CAN go back for a repair. You are on your own with companies outside the UK and for me the risk is way to high to consider this as a potential buy.

Was really tempted by this phone at this price, but
there will be another one soon.
I ordered an LG V20, no updates on delivery from their courier. I posted a ticket to their helpdesk on Tuesday, and no response from them at all. I'd previously ticketed them because the tracking data on DPD was wrong, and they took three days to respond and didn't really address the issue.

I would probably wait for the plus version once available tbh

Great price, but this is getting ridiculous now - a new thread for every price decrease, which seems to be happening twice a week now (Edit: Or, even every few hours now!)
Incredibly, the cut-down UK version holds its high price (£600 appears to be the lowest) as people must be buying at this price.
