Thanks for your considered critique. FYI the soundsticks were designed in the late 90's by our own Jonny Ives (yes, Apple's chief designer). They have won numerous design awards and a set is on permanent display at the New York Museum of Modern Art. I like to think i'm open to innuendo as anyone but never once have i thought that the speakers resemble a dildo. I have a set of these (speakers that is) and the sound volume is perfectly acceptable for me.
