Went for the 6p sticker deal posted weeks ago.. got charged 6p and £1 for customs or something because it was posted from china or because i paid in GBP while the website stated it in USD price.. cant remeber what exact reason but ended up paying more than stated. I hope this is not a 8p+£1 deal. Thumbs down for hidden charges

Problem with cheap cables is, will they charge quickly enough? I bought a bunch of cheapo fake-Samsung cables from ebay via China a while back and they charged soooooo slowly. Used Ampere and Galaxy Charging Current (Android) apps to test. Ended up giving them away!
These push just as much current as the (official) Blackberry cables I normally use - 99p each and different colours (HUKD member octopus alerted me to these) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/182597711746 received them in about 8 days as well!!

Not sure about Gearbest, but I got a £1.50 currency charge for $0.01 (that's one cent) stickers from Aliexpress recently. Not sure what went wrong, as I always have GBP set as my default, which incurs no currency conversion charges. The site kept crashing, so that may be why.
Still to chase it up with my bank, might be that's what happened to you.
Never heard of customs charges for tiny $ or £ purchases from China? Hasn't it got to be over £15 or something?!

sigh
watch out
I was half asleep & 3 blue ones (they're way cooler) for £2.12 by mistake
somewhat rueing my failure to engage brain, 8p is good, 70p seems a bit rubbish

Some reviews suggest these cables are fast charging/fast data transfer, so that's good to know  Would buy one but I've just bought a bundle of the 99p ones recently.
