Good price in my opinion as all the extras are included. Its a personal cover which means the policyholder is covered in any vehicle. Plus free cover for your partner too.

Only covers spouse and civil partner.
1. Does my breakdown insurance with
AutoAid cover my spouse/partner/civil partner?
AutoAid Breakdown covers you and your legal spouse or civil partner with total breakdown cover, which includes, roadside assistance, a vehicle recovery service to one place of your choice, home breakdowns, emergency travel or overnight hotel accommodation and an attached caravan or small trailer.
However, if you are not legally married or in a civil partnership, we are unable to cover a common-law partner under the same policy. If your partner would like to become an AutoAid Breakdown member, a separate breakdown policy would be needed.
Just to avoid any confusion.
Good deal if you're married tho.

This is the reason I'm no longer with Autoaid. But having been with them in the past and used their services a couple of times I found them easy to claim from.

Excellent service,And when i needed them the breakdown company said they pay them now so no need to claim.

Had to claim on my Autoaid policy yesterday and it was very efficient. Recovery truck collected my car within the hour and only had to sign a form at the end of it to say it was dealt with. No more payment at the roadside and claiming afterwards.

That's an improved system, having to fork out C/C details to strangers in vans was never that good imo.

I used to use this company and in my hour of need they let me down (I drove my car into a flooded road and they wouldn't tow me home). I was lucky because I was double insured and Nationwide Flex Plus Accont for £10 per month covered me properly. I got vehicle back home and then they allowed me to get it collected from home and delivered to garage. Family mobile phone insurance together with worldwide travel insurance makes it a difficult overall policy to beat if you've got a family.

So what was the reason they wouldn't tow you home? Also did I understand correctly that the breakdown cover you had actually allowed for 2 tows, one to home and then one from home to a garage? If so that's very good.
I've had autoaid for several years and fortunately have never had to claim although my father has on a handful of occasions and always found it to be very efficient even more so in recent times as the bill is just handled between the towing company and autoaid with no credit card needed.

Recommended. Been with them a few years now and claimed twice. Very simple and hassle free!
