Please expand on your comment. As far as I am aware Synthetic 5W/30 is the engine oil grade of choice due to it being able to handle a huge range of temperatures.....

Which I would argue may be better for your engine than leaving (perceived superior brand) in for twice as long.

Good Deal, this illustrates the psychological power of branding, ASDA evidently don't make oil so Walmart's buying power suggests that probably one of the big boys supplies them. Does anyone know who?
A brand has an emotional irrational appeal , even the love or hate of Audi, owners forget most engines and parts are common with SEAT and Skoda. You never really know what you're actually buying.

fully synthetic is just that "FULLY SYNTHETIC"
just like a hdmi lead for a pound or a thousand pounds does exactly the same job. so this oil came from the same place as the best oul money can buy. and it has to have gone through the same process and tests as the expensive one.
so this is a bargain.

I use this in my Octavia and like in one of the comments I change it every 6 months because it's cheaper than the branded ones to do so. Been using it over 3 years now and never had a problem. Even better when you get an extra 10% off when you know someone who works there :-)
