This is different with the previous deal as this is 20W and not 10W. So it is much brighter if you need them

It will depend on the size of the cable but most lighting cable (if not all) used here in the UK is at least 1.5mm2 which should be sufficient to carry load for 20w Lighting plus control gear.

That's my concern, my last one was fitted as it needed a spur etc. I was thinking that I may just be able to disconnect that one and connect this one up? So for me, it's not a question of whether the cable can cope, it's more a question of can I just unscrew the current one and wire this one with the existing wiring? I'm ok at diy but I don't want to blow the electrics!!

Yes.. it will be perfectly safe, lighting wiring is rated for way more power than these take.

Should I be able to fit this myself easily enough?

I've replaced an old one with similar and I've wired up two further ones but using 3-core wiring (normal for these) then linking it to a 3-pin standard house plug cabled to a garage socket...works a treat and so much easier than linking it to mains.
Make sure you get the right connections in both light and plug (e.g. earth to earth) and it's relatively simple if you screw light into wood batten / fascia etc
