This is different with the previous deal as this is 20W and not 10W. So it is much brighter if you need them

Should I be able to fit this myself easily enough?

I've replaced an old one with similar and I've wired up two further ones but using 3-core wiring (normal for these) then linking it to a 3-pin standard house plug cabled to a garage socket...works a treat and so much easier than linking it to mains.
Make sure you get the right connections in both light and plug (e.g. earth to earth) and it's relatively simple if you screw light into wood batten / fascia etc

Does anyone know where you can get the cabling needed to wire these up?

It's a shame it doesn't have a manual override function to keep it always on in case you need it in garden parties etc
Anyone know of one like this which has a manual always on feature?

It will depend on the size of the cable but most lighting cable (if not all) used here in the UK is at least 1.5mm2 which should be sufficient to carry load for 20w Lighting plus control gear. cheers , thanks for replying
For those asking how to wire this light up, and what cable is needed etc ? If you are unsure then please get in touch with a local to you, qualified electrician and get a quote for install, it's great saving a few quid on the purchase, but please don't take risks by DIY installing electrical equipment to save a few quid only to end up blowing a fuse, tripping a breaker, or causing a fire, or worse case electrocuting yourself or someone else.

I've got the 10w and the 30w version of this. Good sturdy units but the pir is a bit rubbish - takes ages to adjust to get the right level of sensitivity for the front path. All you need is some three core wiring as the terminals and gland is all built into the back.

That's my concern, my last one was fitted as it needed a spur etc. I was thinking that I may just be able to disconnect that one and connect this one up? So for me, it's not a question of whether the cable can cope, it's more a question of can I just unscrew the current one and wire this one with the existing wiring? I'm ok at diy but I don't want to blow the electrics!!

Yes.. it will be perfectly safe, lighting wiring is rated for way more power than these take.
