Seems like a reasonable brand and they're in white so probably apple compatible

Great price if you can find one.
WD are one of the biggest sellers of hard drives. White has nothing at all to do with something being Apple compatible. Ones that say Mac on are Mac compatible, but you can reformat hard drives anyway to work on Mac/Windows.
The price has nothing to do with quality, they're priced far higher elsewhere for the exact same item. There have been a few posts now on this, Tesco seem to be randomly reducing certain WD hard drives by various amounts at specific stores. At the 3 stores near me none are marked down in price. Tried scanning one hard drive and it was still full price.
What store was this at and were the prices marked down on the shelf?
