For the price it's about where it should be. Only real bonus that I'm seeing is that it has the webcam and backlit keyboard which are generally less regularly found on these models and quite hard to confirm as present on most refurb sites. I'd say it was worth it if it did come with the fingerprint reader as well. I've added the full spec to the posting as without it the deal is only ever going to end up cold because people can't see what they are getting for the money.

Remaining battery capacity? TN or IPS display? Considering getting one for the missus as she's currently got a chromebook but is coming across a lot of .docx files that don't play ball with google docs or MS office online.

If it is anything like my T430, you will need a mini-thunderbolt/mini-displayport to HDMI.

Mini Displayport or VGA. It's a business laptop so will tend to have business features which DP is one of those things businesses look for. Pretty easy to get a DP to HDMI cable if you need it.

Mini-DP to HDMI adapters are a couple of quid. DP is also more versatile since HDMI with the HD4000 will only drive a 1920x1080 display, no higher. With DP we can go as high as 2560x1600.

wonder what advantages would DP have over HDMI though... using Thinkpads for years and I have yet to find an advantage. Having to use an adapter all the time is a bit annoying.
