Ate this recently with my vegetarian daughter,I now have the utmost of respect for vegetarians.
I think we should leave this one for the vegetarians to judge.
All I can say is any one for haggis.

Never eaten Quorn but would like to try it, I must say "it takes like cupboard" puts me off a little bit. But in saying that, I've never eaten a cupboard before so I might like it.

I'm a major meat eater but the Mrs is a veggie, so I've had this and other quorn products. It's OK, and doesn't taste like cardboard, better than the chicken piece's (which isn't bad either) but I still prefer meat though.

Great price. I'd eat a table if it flinched but sometimes I have to cook people that I'd secretly like to punch, just to be polite, and this really is a great price for 500g. Sainsburys have it for £1.50 which is half price there, so this is even better.
I used to be really scornful about Quorn but I lost 6 stone doing alternate day fasting and found it added texture to the food I cook (and still do) on the 600 calorie days and works really well with tomato and garlic sauces.

heat for the price.. have made a loads of meals from this stuff over the years and it makes some meals better than others.. if using this to make a spaghetti Bolognese or a chilli then don't add ingredients that enhance taste such as red wine or chocolate.. really spoils the meal when adding it to Quorn..
