This phone is £599 direct from Apple, so I guess if you can find a sim that gives 600 mins/5000 text/4GB data/roaming for less than £44 for the two years then yes it would be better. Otherwise no.

I think during your investigation/dissection of my post, you hit the nail on the head. I have had it a year and a half because it's been out a year and a half. And within this year and a half it's developed battery issues.
I am a heavy phone user, but that's my life. Then again another apple warrior has already picked on that as being lived wrong so let's leave that for the moment.
p.s: Why do people like you guys need to make every post about a godforsaken apple product a passive aggressive cockfight? I expressed my genuine experience with the iphones and said I was considering getting the 7 but the headphone jack and potential battery issues in the past were a problem. It's sad that you feel the need to "check" me on it. Anyways leaving this thread alone now, so please no need to reply. I actually HAVE a life.

Not USUALLY - some CPW ones do! Ones bought from Apple, 3, GiffGaff, John Lewis........ don't!

These are flex locking. Which means locks to first sim inserted. Best bet is put in a O2 sim and unlock as ID will charge you £40 to unlock because it's flex

Not sure I follow. Do O2 not charge for unlocking? So put in an O2 payg sim, unlock and then do the id sim?

Only three don't lock. O2 you either have to have a contract and it's free to unlock or £15 on payg

Edit: Is this the old trick of adding to your basket, then clicking on the TCB link to iD mobile before checking out?
