No, not as good as Nest if you want smart home integration.

for the money it is great. easy to install and simple to use. you csn control via a app on your phone or tablet.

It seems pretty straight forward to install. Instructions are very good if you get confused.

Is the offer only for the full system? Moved house a couple of months back, Hive receiver and thermostat already installed, but need the hub to use with app. Best offer I can see at the moment is £64 just for the hub :disappointed:

You could purchase the item and sell the bits you dont need on ebay and recuperate some money back.

Image shows a hub is included, and product code(s) are searchable on Toolstations website, which in product description also states that hub is included

My system is duel zone, I understand that hive 1 can only control 1 zone and hot water. Can I use this to control 1 zone and hot water, then leave the 2nd zone on the normal thermostat? Could I install it in series with the current controller/ timer?
Thanks.

You could install it in series and yes you could still connect hot, heating and leave the second zone seperate. I would only attempt this if you know what you are doing.
