Got the Redmi Note 3 snapdragon running NitrogenOS (a cracking version of android.. I tried a few and this one runs smooth as silk with all the essential features!)
Something to note though, the MIUI OS allows you to "Never" go into sleep while charging, leaving the screen on. DON'T select this option because if you accidentally leave the screen on, while charging, the heat of both warps the plastic around the screen and you end up with a curve, like mine, which can no longer have a glass screen protector and cannot remove the sim card or memory card since its warped the port where they reside.
Still, runs great, don't notice it in daily use.. just cant leave TalkTalk anytime soon

Too big for me at 5.5". I also think from research that the Moto g5 camera is better. I'm hoping for some deals on that or the g5 plus once the g5s series drops.
Hot deal if it fits you though!

been using iphone 5 since 2014, been watching this for a long time, either this or a 6s, I like iOS so much though, not sure if I'll enjoy the change.

MIUI is basically iOS - take a look at the reviews for MIUI on YouTube, I don't think you'll mind it as much as you may think

I would think carefully before switching. Android for me will always be the better system, but my sister literally doesn't understand Android and the 1 time she switched from iPhone she moaned the entire time that she 'couldn't do anything' by which she means - it didn't have iTunes, she wasn't interested in Spotify or anything which in my opinion is 1000x times more stable and easier to navigate than iTunes.
Anyway.. I would consider your options carefully before jumping in or you could spend 2 years of regret like my sister. Obviously there is every chance you'll agree that Android is leaps and bounds ahead of IOS anyway.

Go for the 6s if you can, it's a decent phone but since you're already on iOS I suggest staying on it

Is this going to be much of an improvement on a Galaxy S5? - I'm torn what to do, been tempted loads recently by these deals... also the Lenovo P2 in the 3 shop for £199 seems good value (not in comparison to this) but as an upgrade to the S5. Thanks in advance for the input.
get a ZUK Z2 Pro instead. I've ordered one from Banggood for £211. that too the 128GB 6GB RAM version!!!

In people's experience, what are the delivery lead times like?

I had two recently from different vendors on AliExpress, one there was a slight delay during the time NatWest had problems but the first was delivered in 12 days and the slower one was ordered on 28th April and arrived 15th May so still well chuffed.
I have unlocked the bootloader on the older one and have just managed to get it rooted. The new one will be given the same treatment tomorrow, it has to be bound to a Mi Account for 72 hours before I can unlock bootloader.
That can be a bit of a faff, but worth the wait IMHO

No DHL Express shipping available kills the deal. Not gonna wait forever to get it delivered.

If you ship via DHL your increasing your chances of paying import duty anyway. Best just to go for the standard shipping.

You may want to compare actual physical sizes here after calibrating the page with your S5: http://www.phonearena.com/phones/size/Samsung-Galaxy-S5,Xiaomi-Redmi-Note-4,Lenovo-P2/phones/8202,10212,10404
