17.3" Gigabyte P37X v6-CF2, FHD IPS i7 6700HQ 16GB DDR4 256GB M.2 PCIe NVMe 1TB HDD 8GB GTX 1070 DVD±RW Win10 + FREE Gigabyte BONUS PACK - Rucksack, Gaming Mouse, Gaming Mouse Mat Free pick up, otherwise add £11.50 postage What are you thoughts? Seems to be reasonable price for GTX1070. Cool thing about this laptop is removable DVD±RW, which can be used for additional HDD. That looks to be a bloody good deal. Can Quidco bring the price down further? :smirk:

I can't knock it, main cons per reviews was due to its high price, but with that reduction it now looks (at a cursory glance) to be one of the cheapest in that range.

Great for the gear as well. Just paid for a refurb 15' Alienware £850- with mouse and headset about £920. That only has a GTX1050 4GB (only want it for wow) so for the better processor, wayyyyy better graphics card, better screen aaand rucksack and accessories this is a fantastic deal. Although I dunno about thermals compared to Alienware? It's all fine getting a better value laptop but not if the thermals are going to roast it

I'm worried about G-sync. It looks, that it's something really nice to have, but only top spec laptops have that.
Any thoughts? Would be too silly to buy such a laptop and G-sync monitor at the same time?
(just to double check, do all 1060 and 1070 support G-sync?)

People have been getting on fine without Gsync monitors for a long time. It's nice to have but not exactly a deal breaker to lose. As you've said, it's still limited to a small number of high end laptops, so I wouldn't let it's absence put you off what is otherwise a very good laptop.
