Was about to buy the basic Casio £8.99 watch for my son and saw that this one was on offer at half price for a pound extra. Not bargain of the century admittedly but a decent offer nonetheless if you're after something like this!

I think it's not better looking, I prefer the clean design of the one in the original post
It's actually a really good watch while the battery lasts. The problems start when you need to change the battery. I have replaced every battery in every watch my family own, but this one beat me. It's easy to unscrew the back, but tiny springs start popping out once it's removed. Too fiddly to replace everything, and because it's a cheap watch, I'd be too embarrassed to get a jeweller to put in a battery. So, when the battery dies, go and buy a new watch (highfive) .

Seems to come with a 10 yr battery guarantee as per the photo so think you're covered!

These watches are only good as their battery . Should have expiry date of the battery on the back.

I have this watch and it's still going strong after 7 years except the strap snapped. It's sat on the side for me to pick up and use at work when I put my current watch down and the pixies move it elsewhere...

In my experience, on these Casio watches, the strap always goes before the battery in these

All this talk of 10yr battery life is all and good but the straps crap out at 2ys. Been a basic Casio fan for years just bought 2 of Ops.
