with 2xbatteries that's a cracking deal. got an older version of this and still going strong with original batteries. Moderate DIY use.

Good light duty drill. The better Bosch drills (blue) or kits with bigger battery capacity (this has 2 1.5Ah batteries, or so it seems) are sometimes available for not much more and also worth considering if not in a rush

WHAT??? the only way you could get a blue one anywhere near this price, would be code-stacking. If you can find a blue one somewhere near this price (esp. with 4ah batteries) PLEASE POST IT.

Two smaller batteries are cheaper, lighter, and can be alternating in the charger or a different tool. Just my (novice DIY!) opinion.

With a one hour charger and 1.5Ah batteries, the batteries are unlikely to overlap in use/charging - any reasonable sized job and you'll be sitting waiting for batteries to charge.
