Just look what the inflation adjusted equivalent of a current £1250 bought you back in mid-2007, that's exactly how "future proof" this, or any other TV, will look in ten years time.

nope, it's outdated within 6 months of purchase, as are most electronic goods

lol everyone being so pedantic about "future proof". No **** new version come out every year, that doesn't make something not future proof. Its future proof as long as there no new TV standard that replace it in the near future. so every 4K HDR TV can be said to be future proofed.
