lol everyone being so pedantic about "future proof". No **** new version come out every year, that doesn't make something not future proof. Its future proof as long as there no new TV standard that replace it in the near future. so every 4K HDR TV can be said to be future proofed.

wow they have really jacked the price up on the few that are left. this dropped to about £849 at one stage.

"Future Proof"? That TV doesn't have Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos or HLG to name but three and so is already seriously outmoded!
HD is going to be here for at least another decade, going the fact SD still is, and most people are going to happily 'make do' with dvds and blu ray and HD broadcasts either with a HD or basic 4K variant TV without every bell and whistle. Check reviews and buy what you can afford to live with.

Yeah you can still find the KS7000... At stupid prices.

In that case this is steaming. I got the KS9000 (didnt know the whole KS range was 10bit) for £1400 a while back and thought that was sale of the century!

Its a superb TV and although I know theres not oceans between the 7000/8000/9000 (excluding curve) in terms of spec, so this must be a lot of TV for the money.

Heat. Scorching.

Know a few deals are floating with free soundbars or 4K players, but I think this one has them beat.

I think the KS9000 has better local dimming and motion handling but the essential technology is still the same. They also have a flat version of the KS7000 but its a little more and the discount code does not apply.

I've arranged delivery on mine for this week. PCR Direct said they are marking the TV as out of stock online however they still have a few units left so if you're interested give them a call and be quick!
