Quite possibly the greatest deal I have ever posted... I have officially peaked, and it's all downhill from here :disappointed:
Who knew this was a thing?!? This handy little 3.5mm plugs into your phone, and can control any IR device, including your TV, Blu Ray player etc! Compatible with most iPhones/ iPads (that have a headphone jack ).
Use code GBPlug on the BLUE version to get advertised price!

Any android compatibility or just the usual "let's make everything apple first" nonsense?

I'm guessing that they only mention apple compatibility as that is what the app is for. If you could find a suitable android app I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work.

As an Android user I guess they made it for the iPhone first as they do not have infra red where a lot of Android phones do have it?
Like somebody else said all it would take to get it working on Android would be the app as I guess the app just sends signals to the headphone socket which in turn gets changed into infrared.

Also as an IOS user android have the best of everything already, such a large range of apps and free to use software which IOS can't get due to apples monopoly on the system.

Android already make an app that doesnt require this to use it. iOS doesn't which is probably why they make this.

Heat added, and 1 ordered (tried to order 5, but the code only works for a single).
Hopefully this will now stop me posting in every Samsung Galaxy Note >4 thread lamenting about removing the IR blaster - which no-one on the planet uses except me.

I refuse to upgrade my phone because I don't want to lose the IR-Blaster, it controls all my tech that don't have NFC, or Bluebone or HotTwit
