My answer would be "much needed"....... you will be calling out Sony every 6 months for a failed DPS board, where they replace it with the same suspect part and low and behold several months later, another call out.
Be warned, Sony Quality Control has nose dived, one look on the Sony forums will tell you all you need to know

I have this tv. Very good picture for the price. Much better then Samsung and others. A lot of tech for the money.

I have the 50" version of this and it's great (runs kodi direct on the tv) - been wanting a smaller one for the other room so this is perfect - thanks op!

How does this stack up against the other telly that came up earlier in the week - LG 43UH603V? I'm keen to pick one up but both seem pretty good.
