A bit of a niche item; only worth it for fairly involved weekend mechanics! This is usually between £50 and £100 depending on where you buy. Around £50 in Amazon. It has been cheaper (£20?). It gets really good reviews compared with other electric wrenches owing to variable speed. Far better and quieter option than a cheap compressor and cheap air tools. For OCCASIONAL use by home mechanics (like me) on stuck nuts, wheel lugs, suspension parts etc, you can't go wrong IMO.

Most cars I have had spec wheel nut torque at 120 ft/lbs which is more like 160 nm. That Bosch is more like my impact driver specs - for putting screws in wood and stuff like that.

In my experience, they no longer do this. I don't think it was ever a published policy anyway.

if its within 14 days of delivery, you can legally return it for a full refund and buy at a lower price. so, in practise, its better for everyone that they refund the price difference to save the hassle

You're not joking, I hope they ship this. I have the old impact driver and drill driver, this will go nicely with the kit for small bolts. I have extra batteries and several bosch tool bags after the screwfix deal so it will have a home, I expect the inlay for my spare lboxx will be under a tenner though. Also ordered the Silverline for jobs on the car.

Same torque as my Bosch 10.8v old style impact driver but has the panel on top to set the limit so ideal for smaller fittings. Worth a punt!
I will await the cancelled misprice email :disappointed:
