Samsung 9Kg(wash)/6kg(dry) 1400 spin washer dryer. Had already ordered with AO.com however did a price match. Use voucher code WHITE10 to get this price. Lowest price I have ever seen. Includes 5 Year Guarantee if price matching on AO.com.

It's just a known fact.
Hotpoint is a cheap brand. The guy was trying to help.
Got any pointers for that as I'm torn between the two.
The Samsung is £166 more.
The Hotpoint is 1KG larger for both spin & dry plus 1600 V 1400 spin and gets good reviews.
Guarantee 1 V 5 years
Does the Samsung quality count any more with exploding phones and washing machines in the US.
From the phone perspective I've a note 1 & 3 ignoring the mess that is TW they were left in a truly terrible state when the stopped supporting them.
Also was not too impressed with my Samsung laser printer, I would say a max of 6-10 black cartridges and it died. True it was 5 - 10 years old but very little use and well under its quoted amount that it could do according to Samsung.
Actually I think I've decided on the hotpoint after typing the above!
But any input would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I have a friend with a new Samsung washing machine - she's had no end of issues with it and Samsung would be better off selling chocolate teapots than providing customers service for their products ......

We had a washer dryer - the dryer broke down and we bought a dehumidifier. One of the best and most used purchases ever.
Massively cut electric bill and does the same job - albeit slower. The advantage is it doesn't shrink clothes and they still have that just washed odour. Doesn't happen in a dryer.
Wouldn't buy a washer / dryer again. Separate dryers are good if your needs must. Still cost a fortune in electric though!!

i bought one of these and it was really deep - i had to return it for a normal washing machine. it was 65cm deep vs 55 for the washing machine. just a word of warning, make sure you measure. also the 65cm measurement is conservative as the facade and door stick out 10cm more and the back is flat with no room for pipes and cables...
