Fear Comes Home
Thanks to the power of the all-new RE Engine, and a dramatic series shift to first-person perspective, you will experience horror like you've never seen before.
The RE Engine was specifically designed with the development of Resident Evil 7 in mind. With this engine, we can produce photorealistic results and display objects of various textures, right down to the smallest of details. Resident Evil 7 is only the first step on the path to creating more photorealistic games and immersive worlds.
In Resident Evil 7, we're changing the way you interact with the world. For this next major entry in the series, play from a first-person point of view, dramatically increasing your ability to become fully absorbed in the world we have created.
Play with PlayStationVR!
Resident Evil 7 is completely playable with PlayStationVR! Experience all the horror of the full game in a 360-degree environment. Are you ready to face your fears?

You might want more action, but you don't speak for 'People' as a whole. 5 and 6 were the worst installments in series for me precisely because they were action shooters and not survival horror.
I would be interested to know when you discovered the RE series and which was the first one you played. I suspect it wasn't RE1

If you've not played it in VR, you've not played it properly

It came out in January, I played it and completed it in January and haven't played it since. It's not like it's a multiplayer title.
It's about 10 and a half hours through. Couple of sittings and you're done. I moved it on for around £35. When it's down in price later this year, I'll be buying it again. It's a great game. Don't let the numbers on Steam put you off. People are finished with it now and are off playing the newer games.

I was checking this on Steam yesterday and there were 350 gamers playing this. For a few months old game would expect much more.

Awful RE game, first person view, no classic characters, no mercs mode, no replay value etc. Even considering those are really bad numbers especially for a big franchise such as RE. Hope this gets through to Capcom that people want action not horror. Unfortunately I think Resident Evil as a brand has now become niche after the awful Resident Evil 6 and 7.

I'd love to play it on VR, would bump my personal score off the game. But is a lot of money for one game sadly.

Cheere mate, I have wanted this since day 1 but I was convinced it would have dropped sooner. I have lurked on this website for a couple of years and never made an account until a few weeks ago. You've made me spend so much money but I am grateful for all the 'savings' in the long term. Thanks again man.

Only played the demo VR version, it's awesome! May just have to buy myself a PS4 for this, if Buzz can get me a decent price, (and the wife ok's it)
