I've seen opposing reviews from drooling reports to others saying its a glitchy basket case.

It's fantastic now with all the patches. If your playing on a pro PS4 as well then boost mode makes a telling difference as well in terms on holding the frame rate at 60

Great game with a wheel, a bit more challenging with a controller. Literally tons of tracks and conditions and plenty of cars/career options. Just dug it out again after a year not playing it and really getting back into it.

You playing it with a steering wheel by any chance? I haven't yet found controller settings that make the driving actually feel fluid. Not helped by the fact that whenever I change the controller settings there's a 50% chance of a 5 minute wait for the settings to be saved.
