Very cheap price ever for the most sought after Band 20 Version with latest android + official global rom so supports ota updates. This special Band 20 version will work on all 4G bands. The offical global version will not be opened and rom flashed like so many others, it will come in a sealed box and have the official rom with all the latest updates

The Xiaomi charges 95% in 2 hours. Not sure I'd call that SLOOWW. And if you are charging faster than that, you'd NEED a replaceable battery because it would be knackered after 16 months. Faster you charge, shorter the battery life. Battery in the Xiaomi will be good for years and you'll upgrade before then.
I went from Android and Now launcher without any learning curve at all. Extra options in MIUI are clear and plainly laid out so don't agree with you there.

I just brought one of these and it's been a revelation (and I'm coming from a Galaxy S7). The battery life is amazing which is a major problem with most phones IMO. The snapdragon 625 performs great. I wouldn't go back.

Apparently the included case/film aren't worth it. I'd say you'd be better searching for them separately on other Aliexpress listings rather than Amazon since they'd be cheaper and delivery time wouldn't be much of an issue since they'd take around the same amount of time as the phone to arrive.
Be sure to look for "Redmi Note 4X" when looking for cases. In China, the original Redmi Note 4 is Mediatek and the Redmi Note 4X is Snapdragon, with a newer housing. The Snapdragon 'Global Version' Redmi Note 4 has the newer housing like Redmi Note 4X. However if you search for "Redmi Note 4" cases they'll almost always be for the older Mediatek housing and won't fit this 'Global Version' correctly. Also the positioning of the camera and light sensor is slightly different on each, so you'd have to get a Redmi Note 4X screen protector for the right fitment.

This is the 'Global Version' and will be sealed with Xiaomi's Official Global ROM factory pre-installed, so flashing the ROM yourself after downloading it from MIUI website wouldn't change anything. Usually the only time sellers tamper with ROM is when it's a China Version because those are pre-installed with China ROM. Since Global Version already has official Global ROM pre-installed they'd have no reason to mess with it.

To anyone with experience how does this compare to a moto g5? and lenovo z2?

Lenovo Z2 specs are much better but there's no Band 20 which means a lot of people will have no 4G signal.

I'll probly go with the z2 then as the Band 20 thing doesn't bother me. Thanks

O2 rolling out 1800Mhz lte so it's not a issue anymore. they started band 3 service last year. i can confirm its working in london.

Only in certain built up areas. For the most part on O2 you'll still need Band20 support to get 4G

Whats the camera like in low light and with moving objects, i.e. kids? I'm about to get off the Samsung bandwagon.

I also bought one of these when they were on here a few weeks ago, I'm very impressed and I think it's well worth the money. Battery does last 2 days, even with Bluetooth on which I think canes the battery a bit. Hot.

I also bought from Ali express 2 weeks ago. mine came in 7 days dhl tracked and there is an £18 custom charge. imo for value and performance nothing has touched it. I'm in 3network and have 4g reception 90% of the time. I came from a LG G4 and iPhone 6.

I already ordered this same make/model last Monday not knowing there's be another price drop so soon! Still a bargain and I'm certain will be as good as, if not better, than my Redmi Note 3 SE  Thanks OP
