That's rather mean! - this is a device that has 3 months entertainment and the hardware for under £10 and sideloading was only ever a nice to have and should never have been considered a permanent optional feature

We all have a piehole. The majority of people don't open it for no reason. Nice pic BTW

Are the memberships alone normally more than this? Might just buy it to watch on my xbox/TV and not use the box.

The recent update prevents developer mode which is required to sideload plex. So I will be buying another from this link and then preventing further updates. The old one will go on ebay for around £5.

If I purchase this, can I use the 3 months after my current 3 month deal ends? 4 months for price of 1. Just didn't realise you couldn't stream live tv with now tv for youview

So, it's unlikely this one has the new firmware? Any links on how to block updates?

Heat added, thank you. Was bidding for a used one on eBay the other day got to £7.50 with postage but was outbid and that didn't have a pass with it. Great find, thanks again

If we can find out update server IP's these can be blocked on router... Some more reading to do...
