The FlexDirect account could be right for you if you're after an account that pays you interest when you have money in your account and you prefer to do your banking online or over the phone. It also has a really simple set of overdraft fees. To benefit from in-credit interest, you'll need to pay in a minimum of £1,000 per calendar month (excluding transfers from any Nationwide account held by you or anyone else).
FlexDirect is based on a simple self-service concept – you'll be automatically registered for our online and telephone banking services to manage your account. If you ever have a transaction that can't be completed via our self-service options then our branches and UK call centres will be here for you.

Why do you, and so many others, have a personal vendetta against posts like this!? The OP is posting it here to draw attention to a bank account where customers can gain a decent amount of interest for minimal input/effort. Just because it's posted elsewhere, or was posted here previously, doesn't matter. A lot of us are here to help each other out, others it seems, are here just to take umbrage!

There is a flex regular saver account linked to this one that allows you to transfer £500 across each month and again it's 5% but the account only lasts 12 months but you can start it over again when the year is up.

Does the £500 have to come from your flexdirect account or can it come from a different bank? TIA

I have this and the flex regular saver.
Pays interest, 'free' money, whats not to like about this one.
Nationwide haven't been late or wrong in giving me the interest, I haven't been paying in late either.
100% protected my the government, basically risk free return.
It's still active because it's not a duplicate (see help section for details of what is).

lmao when i see you throwing your toys out of your pram! its a website mate get over it! I typed in nationwide and came up with just mine then when i put nationwide building society in it come up with your deal!
So why you reposting then? Maybe yours should be deleted too! People forget about deals so if its active its worth posting again every so often as i tend to look at whats current not whats been posted about 5 months ago!
