Pretty good price on this set up, no SSD, although it does say "NVMe M.2 SSD by PCIe Gen3 X4 up to 2200MB/s speed (optional)" So should be able to add a NVMe M.2 SSD later down the line, should you feel the need. Couple of freebies in there too, which is always nice. But all in all I think this works out nicely anyway.

- GeForce® GTX 960M 2GB GDDR5 graphics with higher performance
- 15.6" Full HD (1920x1080), 94%NTSC wide-view panel(Optional)
- Exclusive Cooler Boost 3 Technology
- The X Boost function from MSI technology supports faster storage access speed.
- Dragon Center provides six functions to get a total control of your personal computer
- WTFast free premium license for 2-month
- NVMe M.2 SSD by PCIe Gen3 X4 up to 2200MB/s speed(optional)

Its probably a better deal as the SSD is PCIE, so you coud still add in a normal 2.5 HDD for less and keep the OS on the SSD without any hassle.

Voted hot as very good price for spec.. Would of preferred a slightly more expensive option with a 1050

I bought the MSI GL62 6QD with the i5-6300HQ and GTX 950M in October and I'm pretty happy with it. AN additional £30 for the 960M and the i5-7300HQ sounds like a good deal. However, the one-piece bottom with warranty sticker over the screw hole means you'll invalidate your warranty by adding an SSD or removing the battery to do a hard reset.

I bought the same MSI as yourself, wanted to add an SSD after I purchased so I enquired with MSI about the warranty, it doesn't void the warranty aslong as you are just putting an SSD in

Would be pretty God damn stupid and make no sense to have option to include ssd but then voids warranty by doing so, does it not?

Is the RAM easily upgradable to 16GB?? And more importantly would this be good for using AutoCAD? For 2d and 3d?

The MSI GL62 6QD with the i5-6300HQ and GTX 950M works fine for 2D AutoCAD, so this should too. Not sure about 3D as I don't do modelling, hopefully someone else can help you there.

Really? I wish I'd known this when i first set mine up; I was just going to struggle along with the slow hdd for a year and then switch it out once the warranty expired. Do you have to inform them you intend to put an SSD for warranty purposes, or can you just go straight ahead?
