waiting for vega release voting hot as the cheapest 1070 at the moment. I expect vega should push the 1070 under 300?. can't believe the 970 came out at 250 ish.

Hopefully so, very tempted at this price but going to hang on!
They have, but have been OOS for a while. Amazon warehouse is great if you can actually get one.

waiting on vega also but when rumors are the 580 is due out end of this months begining of next but that is rumored again as polarus

Rumors? It's out. The 580 is about 3-5% higher clocked compared to the 480.
But it is quite literally a 480 re-badged with a better process. There are no changes, just clock speed.
There is a bios flash that is going around that flashes the 480 to the 580, again, with roughly 3-5% gains all based on the higher clocks.
It's really deceptive and unfair to customers that this was called the '580' when it is really a slightly improved 480.

I would wait nvidia drivers have been terrible of late, not to impressed with the 1070 myself and yes i own one.
