I am looking into these at the moment for wheelie bin storage. Anyone doing the same might need to know that this one wont fit what I consider to be the 'standard' wheelie bin size.
The larger Keter is available from argos at £99.99 at the moment and they have an offer for three outdoor locks with it for £5 extra.

You can get an outdoor lock from poundland, no point it putting a fancy lock on as the fastening on the keter is plastic anyway.

Reading the reviews for the padlocks seems that argos have got it wrong offering the locks for £5 with the Maxi as those that bough both said the locks wouldn't fit as they weren't big enough.

I purchased this one last year, for anyone that is wondering you can fit in a washing machine and still shut the doors etc, but it will not fit a washing machine and a tumble dryer etc for example as it is not wide enough, for that you will need the max version.

bit risky putting having a washing machine in an outdoor shed where damp could get at the electronics ?
- unless the shed is in a garage maybe
Great price paid similar from B&Q offer last year, does the job and purchased this as a second one to store more garden crap

We only have a small kitchen and wanted to add a dishwasher, as the dishwasher was new and the washing machine a few years old I decided to put the washing machine outdoors. Has been outside since June last year with no problems so far apart from the filler hose froze once or twice.

Talking rubbish.
Had my washing machine in a garage. Uninsulated pipes just set in concrete. Froze regularly. Just can't use it until it defrosts. Never had an issue. Moved home and washing machine indoors now still going strong.

better option is to buy a fridge freezer that can cope with outdoor temperatures (most cannot) & put that outside instead

To be fair there is a risk that freezing could cause damage and leaks, ice expands as it freezes so could crack the internal plastic plumbing inside the washing machine etc, I have only done it as the washing machine is a few years old and should a pipe burst it is only in the garden that will get flooded and not a garage etc.
