Horrible to see this voted down. Virgin is trying to help (cant stress how much i hate Branson but they are trying) helps even a little for police officers to be able to attend the funeral of a colleague murdered trying to help others :smiley:<3:sunglasses: . If you dont like Police Officers have a good look in the mirror theres a strong possibility you are the problem

To be honest with you I've been far too busy working and solving crimes to read newspapers! I can't see why you describe this as a pointless post, I was merely pointing out that not all individuals use the likes of social media therefore I find posts like this as informative. Not having a go at you!

Plenty of times on HUKD has a person shared a deal to bring matters such as this to people's attention and many, many times that deal has reached the top of the daily deals board, meaning even more people see it - namely Poppy appeals, Help for Heroes charity, discounted rail fares for disabled people and plenty more. I voted hot on this - police officers should be made aware of this 'offer'. Shame it's only for one day.
Maybe you shouldn't assume. Thanks OP for bringing this to my attention as I'm an officer and I was not aware of this! Maybe because I don't bother with the likes of Facebook and other social media platforms! Heat added

I don't think the cold votes are anything to do with anti police/Virgin sentiment. This isn't a deal, it's only of any use to police officers and they will already be aware of it. It's a totally pointless post.
