Aldi sell their bananas in packs of 5 for 72p (not 72p per kilo as you may assume like other stores) their individual bananas are priced at 12p each (approximate equivalent to 72p a kilo) so you can buy 6 bananas of your choice and ripeness for same price as 5 packaged ones - thus 1 'free'!!!!
Buying bananas singularly is usually the more expensive way to purchase.....,,,,

I always buy Aldi pick your own bananas, I get the biggest monsters available, certainly get my 12p worth! :smile:

well bananas are cheap but u may have the police come around if u eat too many in 1 go. a cousin of mine likes bananas and had a test blood test done and then the plod turned up asking him loads of questions and took him to the doctors straight away a very strange story but it's true something to do with having high potassium in his blood tests. :smile:
