It has 8 in and 2 out hdmi, does this mean it can split the signal say if I have a TV and projector setup?

That depends what system you have. Some of the Onkyo all in one systems will not work on this. You may blow the speakers or damage this amp if it is one of those systems. Surprised at people just saying yes to you, to be honest. :confused:
