I think this is very poor in terms of processor and HD. It should be 256GB SSD and i5 minimum for this price. They have had it at this price for those specs every few months. Would not surprise me if they have it again over Easter.

CPU is fine (especially with SSD) and its FHD. What's wrong with that? True, 128GB is low. Difficult these days to get this spec, new, with 3 year warranty, for under £500.
And to think that before Christmas we were looking at 256GB, FHD, 15inch laptops (albeit HP) at £300.

I3 is fine but it does need 8GB of RAM so I wonder how easy it is to upgrade the RAM.

Duh! They don't keep links up of their special deals. I keep an eye on this model as I own a 7000 model. Last Boxing Day/Jan sales and last Black Friday they had the 5000 with an i5 and 256SSD down to £449.00.
They also have it as a deal a couple of times per year if you buy via Paypal.
Keep an eye out for this Good Friday. In fact, looks like Dell have one sale finishing today so the new one could start tomorrow.

I mean though let's be honest, it's like me saying "Guys, they have an i7 1080 laptop at this price". Both statements have no evidence to support either, which unless you can actual link us through to a deal it seems pointless mentioning it.

IMPO this is not a good deal. Dell will be selling this at this price but with better spec every so often this year as I have stated above.
