Sorry but I thought cross over was for connecting two of the same devices together for example PC to PC or Switch to Switch. If you used this between a PC and switch like a non-crossover then I think you would get abnormal issues. Your write-up explains a standard Ethernet cable

Crossover cables are not used anymore really. All standard nics can switch nowadays.

You have to choose collect from store (almost certainly oos) and there is then a button to pay online and collect from store on the right of the web page.

Worst case scenario I'll have to cut it open and crossover the crossover if it doesnt work, and make it back into an ethernet cable... 96p, cant complain though...

Not if it's PoE. These are almost certain to be CCA - nasty, brittle and high resistance.

What's in the standard is that auto speed and duplex must be used, but mdi-x is optional...
