Heat for the price, but i wouldn't buy this at this point. It's in to its third year and creaking with iOS 10. Maybe look at the new "iPad"

Load of rubbish. It's an excellent tablet and still one of Apples top models. Good price OP

Using iOS 10 on my iPad Air 2 right now and it's fine! Even runs Rome Total War perfectly!!!
No sign of any 'creaking' at all.

Hardly. The new iPad is a budget model with the old non-laminated display. Other than a marginally faster CPU, it's not really better than the Air 2 in any way, other than being 'new'.

Great price, even better with the 3 year guarantee. Can add 3 years accidental damage for £40 too if desired trumping AppleCare+ at £89 for 2 years.
Getting myself this. Good spot OP.

Sorry to show my ignorance here, but why? What's the advantage if the older version over the new?

Decent deal given the new iPad is £340 for 32gb.

The screen is apparently marginally better on the old one. I personally can't tell the difference. I think the old one is a tiny bit thinner too. The new ones have later processors and better battery, however.

Would've gone for this but recently bought the new Ipad 128gb for £347.19 @ Very.
Prefer the Air 2 because it fits my Air 1 case perfectly.

The screen is constructed slightly differently (more expensively bonding the elements) which is apparently less reflective than the new model, but is barely noticeable according to reviews.
You have to balance that versus the upgraded SOC CPU in the new model. It's personal choice and as another poster pointed out both will run for years to come.
