Amazon deals of the day. Best thing I have ever used. U can use it to literally fix anything and act as shock absorber on your camera. You can subscribe and after they dispatch cancel the subscription so that it can be delivered even though under 20quid

Or, alternatively, you could learn that titles (and posts) can be edited after the original post, and that earlier this morning the title simply read: 'Sugru Mouldable Glue £4.99 for 8' with no reference to Amazon or add-ons.
No 'repeating the information' then, and as for ranting it's hardly a rant, and this is a discussion forum! :sunglasses:

Yes, in the same way that a sofa can be used instead of a toothbrush.

I've used the coloured ones to wrap round cables (various psu's) at work. (over the strain relief at the adaptor end) worked out really well, it stays put and reinforces the strain relief nicely. Also makes life easy. Red ended cable = laptop, green = label printer and so on

Fell off of my camera and I tried it to fix a crack in my tumble drier door and it didnt work, then finally moulded a hook for my keys and it dropped off the wall. Great concept, terrible in reality

My experience has been the opposite. Have made various wall hooks, shower hook, rubber feet on hard drives/battery packs, magnetic bumper for the stairgate, cable reinforcements etc.
Everything has stayed put so far. Need to make sure you clean the surface and work the Sugru well before applying.

At the risk of turning this into a Christmas pantomime - it did. See post 2 above. The title didn't even include the word 'Amazon', let alone 'add-on'. You need to get up earlier, wake up, and smell the coffee. :stuck_out_tongue:

Only the black came up as £4.99, but good deal nonetheless.

Yet another Amazon add-on item, damn them. Have to spend £20 to get free delivery - even with Prime!
Add-on Items are dispatched with orders that contain £20 or more of items dispatched by Amazon.co.uk

you could have read the title rather than ranting and repeating the information.

I used this to seal the connections on my water butts last year. No leaks since.
